Leafhopper ernährt sich von China aster und trägt aster yellows. Blatthüpfer werden durch eines der folgenden Insektizide, Carbaryl, Diazinon, Methoxychlor oder Rotenon, kontrolliert.

Blattläuse saugen Säfte, werden aber von Malathion, Diazinonstaub, Sevin oder Rotenon kontrolliert.

Schwarzer Blasenkäfer zieht auf Blumen und Laub in der Mitte von Juni ein. Sprays von Sevin sollten den Schädling kontrollieren.
