Doch gleich in der Nähe entfernte die Stadt Bäume aus den Parks, Nachbarn schnitten Bäume, die bei Stürmen fielen, und das Versorgungsunternehmen schnitzte oder fällte Bäume von Stromleitungen.

Wir sprechen hier von gutem Holz: Walnuss, Esche, Bergahorn, Zuckerahorn und andere harte und exotische Hölzer. Der traurigste Teil war, dass fast alles in Hacker ging, in Brennholz geschnitten, in Brandhaufen gebrannt oder auf eine Mülldeponie geschickt wurde.

Paul breitet sich nun aus (High-End-Möbel) zu Urban Ashes Qualitäts-Bilderrahmen aus lokalem Holz von Bäumen, die auf Straßen, in Höfen, in Parks und in städtischen Gebieten gewachsen sind. Einige Rahmen in unserem Haus stammen von Bäumen, die direkt in der Nähe gewachsen sind und als Schrott gelten würden. Ich bin mir sicher, dass sie an unseren Wänden besser aussehen als auf der Müllhalde.

Wenn wir unser neues Bücherregal bauen und das Geländer und den Pfosten auf die Verandatreppe setzen, werden wir Jeff Tervol, einen unserer lokalen Säger, anrufen und sehen, was er auf Lager hat.
