Heliopsis wächst am besten in normalen Böden und mit einer Sonnen- oder Lichteinstrahlung. Die Pflanze ist einfach zu kultivieren und ist eine gute Quelle für Schnittblumen. Sie wachsen dreieinhalb Fuß hoch und sind 18 Zoll voneinander entfernt. Die Pflanzen beginnen spät im Frühling, so dass ihr Standort markiert werden sollte.
